First and foremost, thank you so much for being a Travel Hack Guy reader! 2014 has been one of the best years in a long time! The feedback, comments and support I receive is what keeps me going. I first started my blog in March of 2014 to write about all the miles and points I was collecting from credit card signup bonuses and manufactured spending. The site has now blossomed into something completely new!

Website changes

For those of you who have followed me from the beginning, you might recall that I initially launched the site under the name Travel-Hacking.net. I’ve since re-branded and have gone through multiple website design changes. I’ve worked on optimizing and re-optimizing the website for viewers to have an overall better experience on both desktop and mobile browsers. I’ve finally found the perfect combination and Google agrees 🙂 My Google PageSpeed score is 95/100!

Happy New Year

Thanks for being a part of Travel Hack Guy! Happy new year to all my readers =)

Earning miles in 2014

In early December 2014, I reported that my partner and I earned over 1.5 million miles in our first year of travel hacking. This included mostly signup bonuses, but also my continuous effort to run around and buy as many gift cards as possible. I purchased Visa and MasterCard gift cards with my various credit cards so we could earn tens of thousands of miles for free flights.

New Community Forum

I’ve launched a forum on Travel Hack Guy today that will allow readers to interact with me and one another! The community forum will allow readers to ask questions, talk about credit cards, signup bonuses, manufactured spending and anything else to do within the miles and points community!

Here’s to another successful year in travel hacking! I’m looking forward to 2015 and all my new travel stories that are yet to come. Thanks for being a part of my humble blog 🙂
